Now that winter seems to be behind us and spring is trying to arrive, it’s a good idea to take a fresh look at how your home and property looks to a potential buyer. Here’s a couple of suggestions to spruce up its appearance.
- Get out the Broom! Sweep away any old leaves, dust and debris from around the home and along the driveway. Sand from the wintery roads may have accumulated in your garage or parking area, cobwebs may be visible in corners and leaves can pile up.
- Freshen up the Entrance! Start with a decorative wreath or fresh flowers at the front door. Perhaps it’s time paint, replace the light fixture or buy new hardware.
- Add Flowers! We are all aching to see green lawns, tree buds and colorful flowers. Pick up some spring blooms the next time you are at the grocery store and display them on your patio or front entrance.
- Get rid of Christmas! We are still seeing signs of christmas decor around town and it’s APRIL! Time to take down the christmas lights, wreaths and wintery characters.
