What does your dream house look like?
A Frank Loyd Wright-inspired home: post and beam construction built with modern-day mechanical. And I’d have one at a surf-side location and another at a ski-in/ski-out!
What is your idea of the perfect day?
My idea of a perfect day starts with early morning coffee and one of my favourite Okanagan activities—mountain biking, snowboarding, or powder skiing. A productive workday followed by an outdoor BBQ with friends/family. And hopefully, I can slip some lake time in as well. Can the day have 34 hours instead of 24?
How has the industry changed over the course of your career?
Technology has improved and expedited the entire real estate process. It has also been fascinating to see residential construction and multi-family development progress and evolve. Building material functionality has progressed so much in the past 20 years. I love seeing what the future brings.
Most interesting experience?
Our family with twins has been a whirlwind since the get-go! One of our many interesting travel experiences, which was spur of the moment, saw us jump in the car and drive to Mexico for a surf trip. I should probably write a book about that one!
Who is your hero?
I asked for help from my family on this one, so please don’t judge! It’s a two-way tie: my wife and Batman. Honestly, I am so grateful for my children. They challenge and inspire me daily. I believe I have become a better person since they came into my life.
