During the holiday season, many of our clients will ask us how to decorate their home for Christmas when it’s for sale.

  • Decorate with colours that match your home’s palette. For a rich earthy colour-scheme, try cranberry, gold and forest green. For a more light, cottage-chic interior, choose icy blue and silver decorations.
  • Use your decorations to accentuate your home’s best features. Display a poinsettia in the dining room or showcase the mantle or window ledge by placing a menorah, wreath, or a few favourites from your nutcracker collection.
  • Keep the size of your space in mind as you decorate. You don’t need to skip the tree, but do ensure it doesn’t overpower your room or block your spectacular view.
